About the school

1-9-1 Sannomiyacho, Chuo-ku, Kobe, Hyogo (Sannomiya Center Plaza East Building 5F), 3 minutes' walk from Sannomiya Station (all lines). A campus newly established in April 2024, inheriting the curriculum of the Tokyo and Osaka campuses. Close to Sannomiya Center Street, Ikuta Shrine and the former foreign settlement.

Fee basis

Tuition per year for the further-study 2-year course etc. (tuition for the 2-year course ¥1,452,000 ÷ 2). Including tax. Based on the fiscal 2027 school rules appendix (Tokyo campus rules PDF). Tuition for the 1-year course is also ¥726,000 and for the 9-month course ¥544,500. The official admission guide page gives a first-year total of ¥907,500 (including admission fee etc., including tax; classes planned to start April 2027, Ministry of Education certification being applied for). The fiscal 2026 rules give a 2-year course total of ¥1,738,000 and the fiscal 2027 rules ¥1,760,000, which differ (the official page table says ¥1,732,500 for 2 years).

Study period

Further-study course: 2 years / 1 year 9 months / 1 year 6 months / 1 year 3 months (1 year in fiscal 2027, and 9 months in Tokyo and Osaka). Job-preparation course (formerly Practical Japanese): 2 years. Classes are 9:15-12:30 in the morning or 13:30-16:45 in the afternoon.

Admission requirements

Completion of 12 or more years of school education or an equivalent course, a financial sponsor with the ability to pay and a guarantor, and a likely residence status (school rules). In the 2026 academic year school rules, the advancement course requires age 18 or over. FAQ: no age limit, but within 5 years of graduating from the last school. Process: meeting → application form and screening fee → interview (Japanese ability, motivation, ability to pay) → COE application (handled by the school) → payment → entry to Japan.

Japanese level requirement

A required level (N5 etc.) could not be confirmed. The Japanese-level condition may differ by entry period (inquire for details). Japanese ability and an interview at the entrance exam. Classes are decided after enrolment by an online test and a conversation test.

Graduation & further-study support

Advancement: homeroom system, career consultation hours twice a week, university briefings, designated-school recommendation to over 100 schools. Results: University of Tokyo, Kyoto University, Waseda, Keio, Ritsumeikan and many others, and graduate schools including University of Tokyo, Kyoto University and Hitotsubashi. Scholarships: a system that selects and recommends students excellent in grades and attendance (international students only). Job support available.

Accreditation

The Kobe school page says "Ministry of Education certification planned to be applied for". Ministry of Justice notified school status is not confirmed on the same page (a self-inspection and evaluation report exists).

Nepal applicants

The official website states no country-based restrictions on acceptance. No Nepali-language support or Nepal-specific information could be confirmed (the country/region pages cover China only). It states that staff who speak students' native languages are available (no list of languages).

Language support

Classes are taught in Japanese. Many staff who can support students in their native languages are employed (languages not specified). Website available in Japanese, English, German, Spanish, French, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and Chinese. No Nepali.
