Who we are
Nihongo School Finder is operated by Orbisana Co., Ltd. (株式会社Orbisana) (contact address: [to be completed]).
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we store your name, e-mail address, optional WhatsApp number, country, preferred city and intake, the school you are interested in, and your message. We also store a one-way hash of your IP address, used only to limit spam. We never store the raw IP address.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry and to prevent abuse. Our service is free for students; schools may pay us a referral fee if you enrol.
Sharing with schools
We share your details with a school only if you select that school and tick the separate consent box naming it. The shared items are: name, e-mail, WhatsApp number, country and message. The purpose is to let the school answer you. Without that consent your details stay with us.
Service providers
We use hosting and database providers, and, if enabled, an e-mail delivery service and Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection. If analytics is enabled, Google Analytics 4 receives anonymised usage events.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data by contacting the address above.
Retention
[Retention period — to be decided by the operator.]
